Fair Market Rental Program
The Fair Market Rental Program is designed to make housing available to everyone, regardless of income or race. The Peoria Housing Authority currently oversees 30 private rental properties in the Miami area, including 1- & 2-bedroom apartments and 3-bedroom houses. The rental cost varies based on the number of bedrooms.

Are there income guidelines for this program?
No, unlike our grant funded programs, these units aren’t regulated by HUD.
Do you allow pets?
No, pets aren’t allowed.
Can I reapply if I was a previous tenant?
Can I apply if I am a convicted felon?
Yes, the Executive Director has the authority to approve the application of a convicted felon. Several factors such as severity of the felony, the time lapse of the felony, and if the individual has stayed out of trouble since the felony will affect this decision.
